I
work with 5 different cameras and an assortment of lenses;
my lighting is portable and goes on location for a casual,
classic and contemporary soft lighting as seen in the
children's portraits. Each wedding is unique and so the
Bride and I make a plan, even test shots on location at
the church or reception hall, to see what equipment will
best enchance the final portraits. I work with 35 mm and
digital or both, depending on the circumstances: I always
have a back up camera, or cameras with me.
Using the digital cameras, putting the RAW images directly
onto a television screen for easy viewing has become my
newest and one of the most popular services I offer! During
more formal sittings, (as opposed to outdoor, on location)
we get to see immeadiately that the lighting is ideal,
the angle of the camera, the pose--the spontaneous moments
through the television screen instantly help us to see
and recognize-----------"AHHH! We've got it!"
and it's FUN! Building confidence, self esteem, validating
and affirming the inner beauty in a gesture or pose for
my Seniors, Brides, or Children's Portraits is my joy,
and intention when I work with and for you on these special
occassions...photography can be defined as "written
in light"...natural light or studio, these memories
are created as part of your own legacy to treasure for
years to come.
